Hamid Rahim Khan
As a dedicated law student, I combine rigorous academic work with a strong commitment to creating positive change in society. As the Founder & Chairman of the AWAB Society and an ANF Youth Ambassador, I lead initiatives to combat illicit substance abuse in educational institutions and empower Pakistan’s youth. My mission is to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse while inspiring young people to build brighter futures through education, economic opportunities, and emotional resilience.
I believe in the power of united, purpose-driven youth to transform society for the better. Through awareness, unity, and education, I strive to ignite a movement that not only fosters a drug-free Pakistan but also cultivates a generation of socially conscious, economically empowered, and emotionally resilient young leaders.

Fatima Aman Khan
I am Fatima Aman Khan, a law student and Co-Founder of AWAB Society. My commitment stems from a firm belief that our youth deserve protection, guidance, and a second chance. Through AWAB Society, I am devoted to tackling substance abuse among young people by combining legal action with community awareness, counseling, and support systems that address the root causes, not just the symptoms.

Najla Shah
As a dedicated law student and founding member of the AWAB Society, I am committed to creating a healthier, drug-free student environment. With strong academic standing and effective communication skills, I use my voice and platform to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse among youth, especially within educational institutions.
Together, through unity, education, and compassion, we aim to foster a campus culture that champions mental well-being, informed choices, and mutual support. I believe that by empowering students with knowledge and empathy, we can be the generation that ends addiction through awareness.

Mission
1. AWAB (أواب) is committed to raising awareness about the dangers and long-term impacts of substance abuse among youth.
2. Focuses specifically on students in academic institutions, including universities and hostels.
- Provides accurate, science-based education and preventative resources.
- Aims to reduce the risk of drug use and addiction through education and awareness.
- Works to build strong support systems within educational system to guide and assist vulnerable students.
- Promotes safe and constructive alternatives to substance use.
- Offers practical strategies to help students manage stress, peer pressure, and social challenges.
- Partners with stakeholders in education, healthcare, and governance to expand its reach.
- Supports recovery efforts by providing resources, encouragement, and structured pathways to rehabilitation.
Code of Conduct
1. Purpose
The Code of Conduct outlines the expected standards of behavior for all
members, volunteers, and representatives of AWAB. It ensures that our mission
to build a drug-free, supportive, and inclusive society is reflected in our actions.
2. Core Values
Integrity: Act honestly and transparently in all engagements.
Respect: Treat every individual with dignity, without discrimination.
Empathy: Show compassion toward those struggling with addiction.
Accountability: Take responsibility for actions and commitments.
Collaboration: Work collectively with members, communities, and institutions.
3. General Expectations
Members shall uphold AWAB’s mission and refrain from any activity that
contradicts it.
Members must abstain from substance abuse and serve as role models for
youth.
Respect the decisions of the Executive and General Governing Bodies.
Safeguard the reputation of AWAB in speech, writing, and conduct (including
on social media).
Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information about members,
partners, and beneficiaries.
4. Membership Conduct
Follow the admission process (forms, interviews, approvals) honestly.
Attend meetings, workshops, and events regularly and responsibly.
No member shall engage in harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory
practices.
Members must declare conflicts of interest (e.g., affiliations with organizations
whose objectives clash with AWAB).
5. Leadership Conduct
Leaders (Executive & General Governing Body, Research Committee Heads)
must:
Lead by example in integrity, discipline, and commitment.
Ensure decisions are made fairly and in the best interest of AWAB.
Avoid misuse of authority or resources.
Remain open to feedback and uphold democratic processes where applicable.
6. Event & Community Conduct
All participants in AWAB activities must:
Follow safety protocols and event guidelines.
Respect cultural, regional, and religious sensitivities.
Promote constructive dialogue and discourage stigmatization of recovering
addicts.
7. Research & Publications
Research must be evidence-based, unbiased, and ethically conducted.
Proper citations and permissions are required for published materials.
Sensitive data (rehab center statistics, personal testimonies) must be protected.
8. Financial Conduct
Members handling funds must ensure transparent, accurate record-keeping.
No misuse of donations, grants, or society resources will be tolerated.
Financial reports must be shared with the Governing Bodies when required.
9. Breaches of Conduct
Any violation of this Code may result in:
Warning or counseling,
Suspension of membership, or
Termination, subject to the Executive Governing Body’s decision.
Expelled members may not challenge removal in court, in line with Article VI
Clause 3 of the Constitution.
10. Commitment
By joining AWAB, all members agree to uphold this Code of Conduct and
contribute positively toward building a drug-free Pakistan.
